Consecrating Willows Under Canadian Skies.

Today, our churches across Canada were filled with the scent of willow branches and heartfelt prayers. Palm Sunday marks the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.

Even far from home, we cherish our Ukrainian traditions: blessing the pussy willows, sharing the joyful greeting "The willow hits, not I!", and praying for peace in our homeland. May these blessed branches serve as a symbol of life’s victory over death and light over darkness in every home.
