We begin our journey of faith by seeking to truly know God. Through Scripture, catechism, homilies, and the witness of the saints, the Church teaches us who He is and how He acts in our lives. We also come to know Him personally through prayer, the Sacraments, and the support of the believing community.
You cannot love someone you do not know — knowing God opens the way to relationship and trust.
As knowledge deepens, our hearts respond with love. We learn to love God for His mercy, His presence, and His saving love revealed in Jesus Christ. This love is expressed through prayer, worship, and placing our trust in Him each day.
Love is the natural response of the heart to the God who first loved us.

True love always moves outward. We serve God by serving others with kindness, justice, and compassion — living out our faith through forgiveness, helping those in need, and using our talents for good. Service becomes both our mission and our joy.
Love that is alive cannot stay still; it becomes action for the sake of others.
