Family camp weekend “Together in Love.”

On the occasion of Family Week, the community of St. Volodymyr Church organized a family
camp weekend titled “Together in Love.” The event brought families together in prayer, spiritual
growth, and a warm family atmosphere.
On Friday evening, participants arrived at the camp and watched the family movie “Yes Day.”
Afterwards, everyone prayed together before bedtime, reflecting on the importance of prayer in
family life.
Saturday began with communal prayer. Throughout the day, husbands and wives had the
opportunity to attend spiritual talks on the topics: “False Views of Family,” “Searching for
Happiness in Marriage,” and “Jacob, Rachel, and Leah — Lessons for Family Life.” During this time,
the children spent time with animators: learning about David and Goliath, painting T-shirts, creating
a themed photo frame, and participating in various games and activities.
A particularly meaningful part of the weekend was the time parents were able to spend together
with their children through family games and shared activities. Saturday evening concluded with
a bonfire and the singing of Ukrainian songs, creating a special atmosphere of unity and family warmth.
Sunday once again began with prayer. Parents attended spiritual talks on the topics: “The Role
and Responsibility of a Wife” and “The Role and Responsibility of a Husband,” while the
children continued their activities with the animators.
Afterwards, all the families attended the Divine Liturgy together, once again reminding
themselves of the importance of prayer and participating in worship together with their children.
After lunch, families enjoyed sports games together, children helped their parents paint caps, and
everyone took many memorable photos to remember this blessed time together.
This family weekend became a wonderful opportunity for families to strengthen their
relationships, spend meaningful time together, deepen their spiritual life, and once again realize
that a strong family is built on love, prayer, and unity.
